As herbal waters and folk remedies are an integral part of the customs and traditions of the people of Bahrain, known and famous since ancient times, members of the Abdulla Bin Rashid Al-Othman Council visited Aljaser Factory as part of their cultural activities. They were received by one of the partners and Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Faisal Ibrahim Aljaser, who explained the process of distilling herbal waters and remedies, and how they are packaged using hygienic methods and modern equipment, including large and small technical models.

He pointed out their health, technical, and vital benefits required by every family member, such as olive water used to lower blood pressure and reduce blood sugar levels, as well as Araqad, thyme water, and mint, which act as antiseptics, laxatives, analgesics, and remedies for bloating, indigestion, stomach pain, colic, and as a diuretic. Herbal water products are exported to local markets and Gulf countries, and varieties include rose water, palm water, mint water, colocynth water, ginger water, turmeric water, and many others.
